We don’t deserve this planet we sit here and complain about big corporations raping this earth , but it. Is all a supply on demand situation, because humans have gotten lazy, if we want it to stop we need to stop bying there shit , we need a more sustainable future products that can stand the test of time.

well said Brett, it is us. We point at the utter cunts because they are more of a cunt than us, but we are all cunts, just stupid cunts rather than utter cunts. I for one think the best thing for the universe is for our rotten species to end before we get the chance to spread beyond the planet.

I am a truck driver. I have seen every point in the line of production. Orange juice concentrate shipped from California to Florida, plastic base shipped to facilities that produce the plastic bottles, glue, labels.. All this is needed to make empty plastic bottles. Then those bottles are shipped to the bottling facility in Florida. Then tap water is added to the juice concentrate to turn it into “reconstituted orange juice” Sugar, additives, preservatives, coloring, and synthetic vitamins are added. The bottled orange juice then gets shipped to distribution centers, along with all other types of products. Finally a truckload of miscellaneous goods stops to unload at 2 or 3 different stores, then back to the distribution center to load up again..

But when you grab that cold bottle of orange juice, you don’t think about all the miles it went through just so you could slap a couple bucks down on the counter and chug away. It didn’t cross your mind that the truck you passed on your way to work was carrying products you will consume. You were just thinking about that meeting you were running late for, because you bit the snooze button one too many times. Of course you cut off that driver who just left his home, and probably won’t get back home for at least 2 weeks.

We are so ignorant of the chain of events that must occur for this machine to move forward, and ignorant of how much we depend on it to survive. It’s disgusting.

    • Kate

      May 18, 2016 at 8:30 pm

And we don’t think about what went into making that plastic bottle that is used one time to consume 8 oz of OJ. I’m all for recycling, but the waste of resources and creating pollution in the production of packaging is the real problem. Exactly why in the movie the wealthy business executive told “The Graduate” “plastics, my boy”

    • Craig Laidlaw

      August 3, 2016 at 12:01 pm

Time Torn….what exactly is the point you are trying to make? At first you begin to explain what it takes to get orange juice to the store, and then you seem to complain about truckers not being respected or acknowledged for their role in moving the machine forward. So, what is it? The method in which we get orange juice ( which is obviously not good for our environment using plastic, the emissions that come from the processing plants, as well as emissions from the trucks that do the hauling ) and not healthy ( sugar, additives, preservatives, coloring, and synthetic vitamins) or is it a complaint that truckers are recognized as being an important part of our daily lives that transport these kinds of items to our stores for our consumption.

Right now, this is who we are but will come that time when we will self-sistain with everything. The technology is here, cheaper than some years ago. Let’s invest in exactly what we need, let’s repair our stuff, not to change’it with bad-new stuff! Let’s try to learn to cook exatly how much we eat and not to throw our work at the trash. Too much to discuss in a short message!

We are too depeendant upon this system to ever ween ourselves from it. And it can never be self sustainable. We are on a slow and steady path that will lead to our own inevitable downfall.

The captions and some photos are the work of a Liberal with an agenda. It is disappointing to see dead elephants, tiger hides and other wasted animals. Man-made Global Warming, aka “Climate Change” is still a hoax and has always been a hoax and will always be a hoax. If you believe all that garbage the left has been feeding you, then you are one stupid, ignorant individual. Every time some Liberal professor spouts off about this crap, he/she immediately shuts up when asked to produce “Scientific Evidence”. They cannot, They never could. They never will. But they can generate graphic pictures of dumps in 3rd world countries and dead animals in hopes of scaring ignorant people into believing their lies.

    • Randall

      July 30, 2016 at 10:29 pm

William Caloia…. and the world is flat, right? There are some 30,000 climatologists who would be offended by your claim there is no scientific proof. But man-made or not, it’s foolish to claim it’s not happening. Still, it might be helpful to think of the planet and atmosphere as a closed system, which it is. Then imagine closing your doors and windows in your house and pumping smoke, ash, toxins and more in. Do you suppose your houseplants could process all that over time… can YOU process that?

Please remove your head from the sand or wherever you typically park it. Thank you.

Answer me this… Why the fuck would Liberals have an agenda like this? It wouldnt make any sense. You can’t profit off trying to stop climate change. You are actually a victim of the garbage the RIGHT has been feeding you, one of denial in the name of continued profit. One that refuses to change. Fuck this right wing agenda, conservatives are the real parasite of this Earth, the fact that you can even suggest denying the destruction of our planet absolutely disgusts me. You disgust me.

      • Canadachick

        October 3, 2016 at 5:38 am

So they can make a ton of money off your fear. They tell you green energy is the way to turn to… taxing you for it, and then they create crisis so you think you need them. Its a bunch of BS. Of course the planet changes… its been doing this long before we walked the earth and yes, we have some dirty habits that we should clean up .. .not because we are ruining the planet. The planet is much bigger than we will ever be.. but because we do not want to live in filth – liberals cannot exist unless there are things to change and they use your tax dollars to do so. They need this movement so they can impose carbon taxes and limit your lifestyles while those at the top jet set around the world and do not change one little thing they do….and their foot print is much larger believe me. The day Leo stops using his private toys and leaving a huge foot print is the day I believe his hogwash. Money is what makes the world go round and FYYW the liberals are full of it.

What a bunch of liberal bull! Global Warming (GW):

We have been hearing for years that man’s burning of fossil fuels was creating excess carbon dioxide, which was leading to temperature rising around the world. The “scientists” gave world temperature readings to prove their points. Everything American business was doing was increasing world temperatures and causing the ice caps to melt. The coastlines were disappearing, and the polar bears were dying off due to lack of food. The world was coming to an end!

We now know that the temperatures were rising due to normal global cycles. Graphs clearly show these cycles, even though the “godfather” of GW fanatics (Al {I will make millions selling carbon credits} Gore) was proven to alter the data for his book!!!

We also know that the GW sky-fallers were being funded by OPEC so that America would stop drilling and fracking for oil… America had to remain dependent on Mid-East oil! OPEC funds most “environmentalist” groups in America for this purpose.

The funny thing about it is that the liberal press MUST support this liberal cause! They would not report it when they found out the “scientists” were falsifying the data! It has been proven that the temperatures flattened out the last few years!

We are now getting ready to enter into a cooling cycle which may last a couple of decades. There have been several reports that the arctic ice caps have been INCREASING the last two years!!!!

The cycles are related to sunspot activity, among other factors. Look up the video “Dark Winter” (Newsmax) to see what is expected. After watching that video, you will want to start creating more carbon dioxide!

By the way, the volcano in Iceland a few years ago put more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere in a couple of months, than man could put into the atmosphere in their worst two and a half years! The same for Mt St Helens and all other major volcano eruptions… did we see global temperatures rise after those? No! As a matter of fact, the temperatures dropped due to the reflection of the sunlight by the gases and solids!

Oh, by the way, there are more polar bears now than there were 20 years ago! Sea levels are the same as they were 10 years ago…Gore said they would already be up nearly half a foot by now!

You want proof that the GW sky-fallers know they are lying to you? It is simple… for years we heard about global warming, but when the temperatures stopped going up, all of the sudden it became “climate change”!?!!? How inconvenient is that truth?

Very well said, you almost covered everything, other than the fact that those 30,000 climatologists they talk about all agreeing on man made climate change. Where do they get their funding? You better think about that for a second, doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if they said this is all the natural cycle of the earth, how many climatologists would we need after that? And, how many taxpayers funded grants would they then receive? There are literally trillions of dollars left to be made on that hoax, and these politicians all over the planet are realizing they want a part of that. And, from what I’ve heard, a single (that’s 1) large volcanic eruption emits more of what they call harmful carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than man has emitted since the beginning of time. All you need to do is follow the money. They now charge hidden taxes in every single thing you buy that uses energy. It is based on how much energy is estimated that item will use in its lifetime of use. Now, riddle me this. If none of that money is going into exploring alternative energy, why charge consumers for almost everything that buy? Very interesting huh? You may want to do a lot more homework on the subject and stop reading so much of the doom and gloom, far left sites about the subject, because it’s not as bad as they would lead you to believe…

It doesn’t really matter if the air is getting warmer now does it… When you won’t be able to swim in the ocean without being covered in garbage whether it gets hot or our water becomes poison it’s all the same shit now isnt it? Who has more to gain from all this anyway? Liberals.. Or corporations that produce and sell products for profit?

Don’t be an ignorant prick. This is not only about CO2 emissions. Have you even looked at the pictures to see how much trash we throw away? How much we damage everything and pollute the water, even us, humans depend on, let alone the animals. How much oils we spill in our oceans, how much radiation is there because of our nuclear plants, how many plastic ends up everywhere, how many forests we cut, you do realize the forest keep us alive don’t you? So don’t sell yourself crap because at the end you will start to eat it. We have the power to make everything cleaner, but we are blinded greed.

Agree except #4. That is excessive chem trailing . Jets pollute too, but chem trailing is going on all over the world. Geo engineering or whatever it is getting into our water and soil. It is quite measurable in urban areas and even in wilderness where there are no flight patterns.

A number of these captions are hysterically inaccurate, but it makes little difference. Within 50 years we will develop A.I. and humans will either evolve into transhumans, or go extinct. In parts of the world where there are billions of people living in poverty, the populations will either starve, die from disease, or be culled via technology. We will never see the flooding of cities, or the eradication of forests, or any of the other gloom and doom prophecies come to pass.

let’s face it we have not been good stewards and we have been given soooo much from God…wars and rumors of wars etc….in the meantime we are the victims of a shadow government who treats us like lemmings…we are fed poison pablum to swallow and now it has become too hard to regurgitate it…I believe what could possibly help is this; two days of wall to wall, east coast to west coast north to south music for musicians can afford it, poor and out of work musicians can certainly afford it..gofundme can do the security, set up and clean up..every genre from hip-hop to country, blues to techno, rock to gospel each playing for their particular audience..every state, city, and town and village playing music for two days..maybe labor day weekend..the effn’ conventions are over and it will be just before the election..we need a chance to exhale and breathe…and everyone can do it…maybe we can come up with some viable solutions ..basically a wall to wall Woodstock..just sayin’

We are only tenants on this planet, abusive, wasteful tenants. Global warming is a naturally occurring event, our impact upon it is minimal. Mother Nature will cleanse Her planet when She is ready, as She has always done and we will be no more. Don’t kid yourself that the human race is in any way significant in the bigger picture.

The misinformation in some of these comments is everything that is wrong with our species. We have science, undeniable proof about our detrimental effects on this planet – how can we NOT have an effect on this world?? Our population is out of control; we take but we don’t give back. Events like Fukushima are a reminder that some day it won’t just be Chernobyl that is void of any humans, it will be this earth as we have not, collectively, learned a thing from our past. Disasters keep on happening with increasing frequency and the world goes on and back to its old ways. Earth doesn’t need us, we need it. We will never fix our issues as a species. Just look at the ignorance in the world (and in some of these comments). I for one will be grateful when the world has had enough.

There is an old movie called “The Day the Earth stood still” — I do wish that this movie could become compulsory viewing internationally and perhaps, just perhaps some people could change – we are destroying the planet and some new global policies may slow this down some but it won’t stop anywhere near quick enough to save it. It will take something / somewhere and at some time to ensure the Human Race takes notice and listens.

Fortunately I can see my grandchildren are learning as they are taught at school here but in listening to what they say, I’m ashamed of the world we’ve left for them to try to clean up. They show much more respect for the planet than my generation or the one before ever did, we followed blindly and didn’t question.

Keep pushing for the world to listen to you…….

Do not be weary about the things of this world. Focus more on eternity and understand that all this is temporary. Have faith in what is to come and Who is coming. Global warming is futile and for those who have a purpose with an expiration date. Eternity has no expiration date so it’s time to put energy into what matters.
