Huge Explosion Rocks New York, At Least 35 Injured

Cops have swooped to West Broadway and Murray Street in Lower Manhattan as investigations continue.

At least 35 people are being treated for carbon monoxide poisoning after a suspected gas leak.

Of the injured, one person is believed to be in a critical condition.

And police are also believed to be investigating a suspicious package in a separate incident – just three blocks away from Ground Zero.

Video from the scene showed dozens of firefighters as well as several fire trucks and ambulances surrounding the area.

People are being treated at local hospitals.
