Manchester Bomber’s Sister Reveals Reason He Did It

The Manchester suicide bomber’s sister has spoken out, giving a possible motive for why her 22-year-old brother killed 22 innocent people with an attack at Manchester Arena on Monday night.

Jomana Abedi, 18, believed her brother Salman wanted ‘revenge’ for the death of Muslim children in the Middle East.

The Libyan terrorist left 120 people injured at the Ariana Grande concert, and killed a girl as young as eight-years-old.

Jomana said her brother was angry at ‘explosives America drops on children in Syria’.

She told the Wall Street Journal:

I think he saw children – Muslim children – dying everywhere, and wanted revenge.

He saw the explosives America drops on children in Syria, and he wanted revenge. Whether he got that is between him and God.

An unnamed friend of Abedi suggested the attack was revenge for the murder of another friend in Manchester last year.

Abdul Wahab Hafidah was run over and stabbed in a suspected gang attack last May and Abedi ‘vowed revenge’ at the funeral.

Abedi detonated his improvised explosive containing bolts and nails, near the box office exit of the arena as fans were leaving at about 10.30pm.

Abedi’s family has come under heavy scrutiny following the attacks.

His father, Ramadan, was arrested in Tripoli amid allegations he was a member of the Libyan Islamic Fighting group in the 1990s, according to former Libyan security official, Abdel-Basit Haroun, reports The Telegraph.

Abedi’s younger brother Hashim was also arrested in Tripoli.

Our thoughts remain with the victims and their loved ones at this time.
