BREAKING: U.S. Launches Missiles at Syrian Base

Written by Nick Bernabe

(ANTIMEDIA) The U.S. military has launched 59 missiles into Syria, an official has reportedly confirmed to NBC. The target of the strikes was a Syrian government-controlled airfield in Homs, Syria.

“The missiles hit aircraft and infrastructure including the runway,” reported NBC.

The U.S. military action is apparently in retaliation to a chemical weapon attack reported this week in Syria, which has been blamed on the Syrian government, though no investigation has been conducted.

It’s unclear if Russia, which has forces on the ground in Syria, suffered any casualties from the strikes.

Libertarian leaning Senator Rand Paul remarked on Twitter that Trump needs Congressional authorization for these actions.

The President needs Congressional authorization for military action as required by the Constitution.
