It’s easy to forget if a person doesn’t have pets or usually get the opportunity to bond with an animal like that, but once you get a reminder, it becomes clear: people need dogs in their lives, and pets in general.

Making a living with helping puppies would be a dream true for many people. If you’re in Texas and you love animals, you’re in luck. Mutts Canine Cantina is a popular doggie park in Fort Worth, Texas, the big twin city of Dallas in the Dallas-Fort Worth combined metropolitan area. It even serves food and drinks, including alcohol, which was pointed out by a UK website.

To pet their puppies, Mutts Canine Cantina is going to hire some lucky individual to make $100 (£77) an hour. Sounds like the greatest job on Earth.

On Instagram they shared the advertisement for a job, writing “Show us your puppy petting skills! Do you have what it takes to be the first-ever MUTTS Puptern at our brand new location in Fort Worth?

Post a photo or video by 11/12 that shows us your puppy petting skills and use #MUTTSpuptern and tag @muttscantina for a chance to be hired as our Puptern and get PAID $100 per hour to pet puppies at our new location! Creativity is encouraged– tell us why you’re the best fit for the position in your caption!”

This is what you have to do. All you must do is post a video or photo of yourself petting your doggy in a funny or unique way, or just in a loving, true way. Any person who truly loves animals knows what to do: just be yourself.

One lucky person will become the first person hired by Mutts’ to do this. You’ll really be a professional puppy petter.

A few other criteria exist for the job, you must be over 18 years old of course, and not allergic to dogs. That’s common sense.

Kyle Noonan, the owner of the dog park gave an interview to ABC News, in which he talked a little bit about what the ideal candidate for the job would be, as well as their reasoning in deciding to hire a professional dog petter.

“We’ll pick one person to start and depending, we might have a couple down the road. That’s if we find enough great candidates,” he said.

To state the obvious, one hell of a lot of people are going to be signing up for this job. Still, go ahead and apply for it anyway if you live in the area! Some people might even move to Fort Worth, Texas just to get the job.

“This is a legit dream internship.Just a fun concept where we get to be creative and work outside the box,” the owner continued.
