Terrified Man Captures “Poltergeist” on Video After Thunderous Sound Wakes Him Up

What’s your first reaction when you hear weird, unexplainable sounds in the night? Do you turn on a fan, or investigate further?

It has been said that most people would abandon their home if they truly thought it was haunted. However, some wouldn’t give up that easily. As phrased by one article:

“You know, most people would just leave their humble abode once they learn it’s haunted by an evil spirit, or call a witch doctor – usually an Auntie – to drive them out. But not good old Rusty. No, he wants the whole world to know ghosts exist and they’re living in his apartment.”

The problem with understanding paranormal phenomena in the realm of ghosts and spirits, is that “evidence” is sort of incompatible with this world of information. If a person experiences something like this in their own perception, that’s really valuable to that individual, but it’s almost impossible to meaningfully convey to other people. Also, the most receptive people to even a true paranormal story are bound to have some level of naiveté or gullibility.

With that being said however, personally I think this type of thing is very real.

So in this particular case, a man named Rusty from Fayetteville, North Carolina has been steadily trying to document the actions of what he believes to be some kind of poltergeist in his residence.

A bizarre scene was captured on film by Rusty in December 2016, when several objects including house appliances, papers, and cups began to mysteriously fall out of place.

Rusty, not a stranger to all this paranormal activity seeming to haunt him, said:

“I came home to find a few things out of place and decided to review the footage.

It scared the absolute hell out of me watching it, I was probably being paranoid, but it felt like I could feel someone or something looking at me.

I’m seriously considering breaking my lease to move.”

For Rusty, 2017 began with another unexplainable experience, when he heard banging coming from some unknown place in his home.

The man continued:

“I had a terrifying wake up to start the new year. After having my place blessed and cleansed Thursday and it had been quiet the last few days. I actually felt comfortable for the first time in a while, but it didn’t last long. I was woken up this morning from something I heard and so I got my phone out to record and I would say today things went to another level.

I felt threatened. I immediately packed a few clothes grabbed my essentials, and left. I’m staying at a hotel, at least for tonight, and then I’m going to just try and make it to the end of this month. I’ll be moving out in February, so hopefully I’ll be able to put this experience behind me soon.

I can’t explain what’s going on, but I can tell you that this scares the hell out of me. I’m past the point of trying to get rid of it, or trying to understand it. I just want to get through this next month and forget this and never have to deal with it again. [sic]”

Every day, both true and fake stories like this circulate. It’s incredibly difficult to tell the difference between the two sometimes, but other times it is painfully obvious.
